Beets
Beets are probably one of the least eaten vegetables. When I mention beets to my patients I usually get a funny look. What non-beet eaters are missing though is a food that has the most wonderful nutritional and therapeutic values. I am usually wanting my patients to add more betain to their diet, so beets and beet greens become one of my most recommended foods.
